LOCAL LISTENS: Queer lineage

Every season, Local gathers you, our community, to inspire the next great play!

From July - September 2025, Colorado LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies will come together for facilitated community story circles (learn more about what happens in a story circle below). Your stories will inspire two commissioned playwrights who will write 45-minute plays that will be presented in April 2026.

Are you a member of the LGBTQ+ community? We’d love to chat. Join one of our story circles to share your experiences and meet fellow queer individuals. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.
